Educational Objectives
  Upon completion of this module, the learner will be able to:

1 Recognize the various screening tools used for detecting risky drinking and Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD).
2 Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to discuss alcohol use with patients that are ambivalent to change.
3 Discuss benefits and contraindications for various medication options for alcohol use disorder.
4 Describe stages of alcohol withdrawal and various evidence-based treatment options..
